Rural Girl Graphics is a company dedicated to adding touches of beauty and grace to homes and work places. Whether through
commissioned fine-art portraiture, original paintings or drawings, or limited-edition prints our products bring warmth, beauty, and
humanity to living and working places.
Artist's Statement
I've always believed that if an artist must go to great length to explain or justify his/her art, they are either missing the point or trying to
deceive someone (perhaps even themselves). My art celebrates the beauty in the ordinary. My subject matter is wide-ranging - if a
subject has "heart" I will paint it. This is almost always true with faces; hence my portraiture. However, "heart" can be found in all sorts
of images, so I also paint flowers, animals, buildings, even cars.
